There's no doubt the simple sweeping lines of the first gen are probably the most unique with it getting more generic looking after that. In saying that the front/nose hasen't aged well and the nwer ones have nicer looking noses. It's a shame they have gone more sedan/generic looking and didn't stay true to that land yacht/coupe look.

Technically it's C219, C218 and C257 as the CLS is considered a Coupé in the Mercedes-Benz line-up. The shooting brake version is X218 🙂. Still my favourite design specifically the C219 first generation. I have an '07 C219 CLS63 AMG which is super rare and a real head turner.

Whoever designed Mercedes-Benz in 2010 needs to come back. Those cars look rich, elegant and detailed. The C and S Class meh. Just about everything else out of Mercedes-Benz between 2010 - 2015 is on point 👌🏿 I don't like the current generation and most of the 90s were just bad. 1991-2009 are just forgettable year's mostly. The G Wagon has always looked and performed well. The Maybach edition is really the best one. They actually chose the correct wheel/tire package. AMG and other shops variants just look stupid to me with the G-Wagon. Big stupid donk wheels on a $150k truck 🤦🏾‍♂️
